What is LiftMaster’s partnership with USO?
The USO is committed to strengthening America’s military service members by keeping soldiers connected to family, home and country throughout their service to the nation. USO leaders believe service members draw strength from connecting to the things they love and fight for – and one of the best ways to show our appreciation as a nation is through messages of support and gratitude.
LiftMaster also places a high importance on connectivity. We like to connect our customers to the things they love. Our connections start by using our technology like, our MyQ app which provides instant access to the state of your garage door at a moment’s notice to home automation using the thermostat of our partner, Nest.
In honor of the USO’s 75th anniversary they created a campaign to connect in an effort to generate 1 million messages of support and gratitude from Americans to service members, and military families around the world.

The USO is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to support the troops by providing morale, welfare and recreation-type services to our men and women in uniform. The original intent of Congress — and enduring style of USO delivery — is to represent the American people by extending a touch of home to the military. The USO currently operates more than 140 centers worldwide, including ten mobile canteens located in the continental United States and overseas. Overseas centers are located in Germany, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Qatar, Korea, Afghanistan, Guam and Kuwait. Service members and their families visit USO centers more than 6.9 million times each year. The USO is the way the American public supports the troops.
